JAMMU, July 27: The dead body of a man of age about 45 years was recovered today from Ranbir Canal near Rajinder Park, Jammu.
“The deceased has been identified as Bittu Kumar son of Thoru Ram, resident of Rajpur, Jammu,” a police official said. He said the deceased was missing for last one week.
The official said that after completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while police post Canal had taken cognizance of the matter.
