Central University of Jammu signs MoU with Safeducate

JAMMU, Oct 20: Central University of Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Safeducate, a specialist in supply chain and logistics training.
The objective of this MoU was to offer a unique platform to the students of MBA -Supply Chain Management of the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management to gain knowledge of logistics and supply chain, exchange ideas and experiences on corporate operations, broaden their insights and enhance their skills to face challenges in the corporate world.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, by the Registrar, CUJ and Anuj Alphonson- Chief Operating Officer, Safeducate. Surjeet Singh Kainth- Head Intuitional Alliance and Neeraj Tikku- Regional Manager HP & J&K, Safexpress, were also present along with Dr Gaurav Sehgal- Head and faculty members of the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
Prof Ashok Aima appreciated the efforts of the Department, particularly Dr Gaurav Sehgal for taking the initiative for signing the MoU with Safeducate. He further added that such type of industry- academia collaborations combining with domain training will prepare the students to take real world challenges to contribute effectively in the business world.
During interaction with the students, Anuj Alphonson, shared that Safeducate is consistently working with the mission to nurture young minds for developing a talent pool of adept supply chain and logistics professionals. Also, he assured to help in summers internships and final placements of the students.
