JAMMU, Aug 26: The recent transfer list of teachers in Jammu district was today kept in abeyance following complaints of some alleged discrepancies in the transfers.
On the direction of Farooq Khan, Advisor incharge School Education Department, Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta today issued order in this regard, according to which the CEO Jammu’s order number 57- CEOJ of 2019, dated 23/08/2019, affecting transfers and postings of 600 teachers, has been kept in abeyance.
The Advisor took cognizance of the complaints of alleged discrepancies in the transfer list and issued necessary directions to DSEJ for immediately keeping the said order in abeyance, said Ravinder Singh, OSD to Farooq Khan.
Pertinent to mention that on August 23, CEO Jammu had ordered transfer of 600 teachers, including a number of surplus teachers, who were adjusted in city schools without posting.
