JAMMU, Dec 8: Dr Abhinav Gupta, Professor Internal Medicine Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital Jammu son of Sushma and Ravinder K Gupta has been awarded with the highest and prestigious academic fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow FRCP(Glasg), Scotland United Kingdom.
He was also nominated as the member of the Advisory Board of the policy network of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
According to official communication released by the Registrar of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Dr Roderick Neilson, the Fellowship Committee which met under the chairmanship of Prof Jackie Taylor decided to bestow Fellowship FRCP (Glasg) on Prof (Dr) Abhinav Gupta having satisfied the examiners or having completed training appropriate to the College Regulations.
The Fellowship diploma and fellowship pin(Conjurat Amice) shall be presented to Dr Gupta during the Diploma admission ceremony in April 2022 at the University of Glasgow which has been delayed due to developing COVID-19 pandemic.Dr Gupta is the youngest doctor from the Union Territory J and K till now who has been awarded with this distinct and highest fellowship.
