KATHUA, Aug 10: Dr Dushent Ubatt has been elected as president of Brahman Sabha Kathua the election of which were held here.
His name has been proposed by Naresh Sharma, Chairman Municipal Council, Kathua and Ajay Sharma both senior members of the Sabha and later he emerged as a consensus candidate for the post.
Dr Dushent has earlier also served the Sabha for several years. Speaking of the occasion he said that he will work for the welfare of the community and also highlighted the issues of youth.
