Srinagar, Mar 29: With the Pass expected to be thrown open in the next few days, Director General Border Roads, Lt Gen Raghu Srinivasan, visited Zojila Pass today to review the ongoing snow clearance operations.
The DG was accompanied by the Chief Engineer of Project Beacon and the Commander of 32 BRTF during the visit.
On the occasion, he reaffirmed his commitment to an early opening while highlighting BRO’s relentless efforts to ensure connectivity.
Officials stated that while the Pass has been nearly cleared and connectivity between Zojila and Ladakh restored, the road will soon be opened for traffic towards Ladakh.
