JAMMU, Feb 13: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his temporary residence at Jewel near Fish Market.
According to a police spokesperson, the youth has been identified as Ajit Singh (26) son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Ramkot in tehsil Billawar in Kathua district. In unconscious condition, the youth was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
