JAMMU, Feb 13: Hill People Public School celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show in the multipurpose hall of the School, under the theme of ‘Ujala Ki Aur’, here today.
Raj Dev Singh, Sarpanch Bhalwal graced the occasion as chief guest, while Pritam Chand ZEPO, Bhalwal presided over the function. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were chairman of the College, Khalid Jahanagir Malik; Managing Director, Mubina Marayam, Principal of College, Prof Sanjay Tickoo; Dr Mohd Sharief Academic Advisor of the College and Principal of School, Anuradha Rajput.
The function commenced with the lightning of traditional lamp by the chief guest which was followed by ‘Saraswati Vandana’, a tribute to goddess of knowledge by the students of our School.
Welcome address was presented by Pinkey Bhat and Annual Report was presented by Principal of the School, Anuradha Rajput.
A galaxy of cultural items were presented by students, which included Social, National, Patriotic and western culture action songs, dramas and skits.
The chief guest in his address lauded the efforts of the management and staff of the institution for providing value based environment.
The programme was organized by Sanjana Bagotra with the support of Nitin Verma and faculty members, while the programme was anchored by faculty members Reena Rajput and Meenakshi Sharma.
Rajni Kochar presented vote of thanks and the celebration ended with the National Anthem.
