Warm send off given to retirees

JAMMU, July 31: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) bid an emotional farewell to its outgoing Chairman Janak Raj Angural and General Manager D K Bali on attaining superannuation.
Head of Departments of JKGB conveyed their good wishes for their retiring officers. The strong leadership trait of Janak Raj Angural, of involving each and every employee and his role in implementing various welfare measures for the staff were widely acknowledged. Also the management style of outgoing General Manager was appreciated for his simplicity and timely guidance.
General Secretary of JKGB Officers Association also extended good wishes to the outgoing Chairman and General Manager for their post retirement life. JKGB Retiree Welfare Association, in a separate function, gave a warm farewell to the retiring authorities and wished them a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Suman Kumar Sharma, AEE in PHE, I&FC Department was given a warm send off by his colleagues as he got superannuation today after rendering 39 years of glorious service. He joined the service as JE in March 1981 and promoted as AE in 2015 and AEE in 2019. Sharma served in different divisions of PHE Kathua, Udhampur, Jammu and I&FC Jammu during his tenure. All the colleagues, friends and well wishers wished him all the best for his retired life.
District Police Reasi today organized a simple but impressive function at the Conference Hall of District Police Lines Reasi to bid farewell to SI Balkrishan who attained superannuation after serving the J&K Police department for more than 41 years. SI Balkrishan served in District Kathua, Crime/Railway Wing, Border Jammu, District Jammu, District Poonch and District Reasi.
Speaking on the occasion, Surjeet Kumar Bhagat, Additional SP Reasi wished him a very happy and prosperous post retirement life. Mumtaz Ali Bhatti (JKPS), Deputy SP DAR DPL Reasi, SI Sudesh Kumar, Lines Officer DPL Reasi, ASI Mohd Shafi, besides family members and others officers and Jawans of District Police Reasi attended the function.
Bachan Lal Sharma, Head Master, Government High School, Gole Panjpeer, Talab Tillo, Jammu, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation, was given a warm send off by his colleagues via video conferencing. He joined the School Education Department in 1985 and served the Department in various capacities for 35 years.
