JAMMU, May 5: Volunteer retirement given workers of State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) have criticised the Government and especially the State Transport authorities for their failure to address their pending issues.
In a meeting of All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association, held here today under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali, the members alleged that despite several representations, protests and dharnas, the SRTC Management and the Transport authorities have failed to mitigate the pending issues of the VRS workers of the Corporation. They demanded that pending arrears including 126 slab of COLA be released in favour of VRS given SRTC workers. They also sought full benefit of 6th Pay Commission in favour of these retired SRTC workers.
