SSP Samba holds crime review meeting at Ramgarh

SAMBA, Sept, 29: Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, held a crime review meeting at Police Station (PS) Ramgarh. The meeting was attended by SDPO Vijaypur, Ms. Priyanka Kumari, SHO Ramgarh, Inspector, Asha Nand and all the investigation officers of Police Station, Ramgarh.
During the meeting, crime figures of the Police Station were discussed with special focus on reasons for pendency of under investigation cases. SSP Samba emphasized on dealing with Anti-Social elements with iron hands. Stress was also given to ensure that Border Police Posts and Police Nakas established in border areas of Ramgarh Sector to remain alert to avert any untoward incident in their area of responsibility in view of present security scenario and ongoing festive season. All the police officers were directed to ensure maximum use of preventive measures to curb the crime and take stern action against the miscreants. During the meeting, SSP also listened to the problems/issues raised by the Jawans posted in the Police Station.
SSP Samba issued directions to Supervisory Officer, SHO and all the Investigating Officers present in the meeting for speedy disposal of the crime cases. He also directed them to improve Police Beat System to bring more work efficacy in Police functioning.
Later SSP Samba also made the rounds of Police Station premises and inspected the renovation work done at the Police Station.
