RAJOURI, June 12: The police arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued nine cattle from his clutches in Thanamandi area during wee hours today.
Official sources said that a police party led by SHO Thanamandi laid a naka during last night on Rajouri-Thanna-Bafliaz road. During early hours today, police party intercepted a smuggler carrying 9 bovine animals on foot and arrested him. The cattle were also seized. A case FIR No. 104/ 2020 was registerer against him. He was moving towards Mughal Road.
