JAMMU, June 12: A young man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Old Rehari area of city outskirts.
“Sunny Sharma (25) son of Pawan Kumar, resident of Old Rehari, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu around midnight of yesterday following consumption of some poisonous substance by him at his residence,” a police official said.
He said that the youth died at about 12:30 AM today. “After getting conducted postmortem, the body of the deceased was today handed over to his family members for last rites while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by police station Pacca Danga,” the official added.
