LEH, Apr 6: Deputy Director Leh Tashi Thokmet handed over a ‘shoe-sanitiser’ invented by him to Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel for further use at SNM Hospital here.
Later, he also presented a demonstration for use at the SNM Hospital Leh.
While at SNM Hospital Leh today, President Tsewang Yangjor and members of All Ladakh Hotel and Guest House Association Leh handed over 1000 pieces of 3 ply masks, 300 pieces of super top hand rub (sanitisers), 300 pieces of PPE kits, and 4 pieces (20 litres) of Pht (liquid) hospital cleaners to Commissioner Secretary Health UT Ladakh Rigzin Samphel in the presence of Director Health Dr Tsering Anghcuk for SNM Hospital Leh.
Similarly, President Advocate Tashi Gyaltsan and members of Truck Union Leh handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 towards LG Relief Fund UT Ladakh and also 39 PPE kits and 400 pairs of surgical gloves for SNM Hospital Leh, Commissioner Secretary Health UT Ladakh Rigzin Samphel today.
