Set example in public service: Kavinder to BJP corporators

JAMMU, Dec 10: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today asserted that the need of time is to set an example in public service by always remaining at the disposal of people to address their concern unabatedly.
The BJP leader was chairing a meeting of BJP corporators convened ahead of the general house meeting of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to be held tomorrow. The meeting was called to chalk out the strategy and sort out the issues to be raised before the house so that corporators can render yeoman’s service to people of Jammu.
Kavinder said that it is the right time to prove that there is no match to BJP by serving the people in a way that all their civic issues could be addressed on priority. He said that for every corporator of the party, this is ‘now or never’ situation therefore all the resources should be mobilized to set an example in public service. He said that while in field, the corporators also have a big responsibility to dispense information about the achievements of the BJP Government with regard to J&K as there are many entities which consistently spread canards against the party to malign its image.
The senior BJP leader said that there is no need to criticize anybody but telling the people about the feats of the party especially in J&K is a prime duty of every single member of the party so that people do not get confused by the propaganda of opposition parties. He said that the responsibility of carrying out unmatched development in the UT lies on corporators and they should move in that direction so that people get a sigh of relief.
