Priyanka’s entry will be turning point in politics of country: Mir

Congress leaders and workers celebrating entry of Priyanka Gandhi in active politics at Jammu.

JAMMU, Jan 24: PCC chief, Ghulam Ahmed Mir today said that joining of active politics by Priyanka Gandhi and her induction as AICC General Secretary, will prove to be turning point in the politics of the country.
Mir said Congress will emerge stronger throughout and stage come back at the Centre and various parts of the Country. The people in general and women and youth have great hopes from the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Priynka Gandhi,” he said while addressing jubilant Congress leaders and workers including various frontal units and cells assembled at outside Congress Head Quarter Shahidi Chowk.
They raised slogans in favour of Priyanka Gandhi and congress leaders amidst beating of drums and bursting of crackers. PCC Chief himself led the senior leaders and workers in these celebrations. He said joining of active politics by Priyanka Gandhi was long drawn desire of Congress cadres and general public in the County.
