KISHTWAR, May 10: Police destroyed poppy crop in villages Hidyal, Tund and Bemar Naag here today.
As per police sources, police team from police post Hidyal conducted raid in villages Hidyal, Tund and Bemar Naag.
During the raid, the police team destroyed poppy plants cultivated on 2.5 kanals of land.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
The drive was carried out by Incharge police post Hidyal PSI Sandeep Kumar under the supervision of DySP Operations Irshad Ahmed and SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir.
