SAMBA, Mar 27: In view of the lockdown following the Corona virus, Ramgarh police led by the Station House Officer (SHO), Ramgarh, Chaman Gorkha today provided relief and ration to a family who had no ration to feed the children at village Tarapur sector Ramgarh in district Samba.
According to the report, Police Control Room (PCR) got a phone call form a family which said that they are without ration and food for their children. Responding quickly PCR informed to Station House Officer (SHO) Ramgarh regarding the same. After getting the information SHO, Ramgarh, Chaman Gorkha along with his team went to their house at village Tarapur Ramgarh and provided essentials to them despite the heavy rains.
Chaman Gorkha told this correspondent that PCR informed them that they received a call from the phone number 9906066064. The caller said that the family has not the ration to feed their children. “We later also interacted with the family members on phone and despite of heavy rains went to their house at village Tarapur, Ramgarh and providing essentials’’. He appealed to the people if any family is without ration they should immediately inform the police and police will provide the ration to them.
He also appealed to the general public to stay home so that nation will emerge victorious against its fight with COVID- 19.
