UDHAMPUR, May 15: Agitated over dilapidated condition of the National Highway, some locals held a protest demonstration and also blocked the road near Sangoor.
Led by NC provincial secretary Govind Ram, the protesting people raised slogans against the BRO and demanded immediate repair of the National highway. They also blocked the National Highway for some time and disrupted the vehicular movement on the road.
Later, the Traffic authorities reached on the spot and pacified the protesters by assuring that their demand would be projected before the concerned authority.
