SRINAGAR, May 15: The Committee on Estimates (EC) of Andhra Pradesh State Assembly led by its Chairman, Venu Gopal Reddy today visited the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Secretariat and called on the Speaker, Kavinder Gupta.
The Speaker apprised them about the functioning of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Committee on Estimates and other related issues. He also apprised the Committee members about the cultural and economic activities of the State.
During the meeting, the Speaker and members of both the Committees discussed various issues related to the Assembly Secretariat.
The Committee on Estimate of Andhra Pradesh Assembly invited the Speaker to visit their State for sharing the experiences of Andhra Pradesh State.
The Speaker hoped that the members of the Committee would play role as ambassadors and persuades the tourists from Andhra Pradesh to visit the J&K.
The members of Andhra Pradesh Estimate Committee include M. Geetha, T. Shravan Kumar, C Bhaskar Reddy, V Kalpana, K Ventaka Ramana Murthy and P Viswa Prasad Rao.
Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Mohammad Ramzan, besides officers and officials of Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting.
