Parsa Mufti gets Beijing University Fellowship

JAMMU, Dec 7: Parsa Mufti, a Law graduate from Kashmir has been selected for a prestigious Fellowship from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
Parsa, daughter of senior Forest officer, Sajjad Mufti and a former Law student from Amity University, has been selected amongst 151 Scholars from 33 countries and 106 Universities. These Schwarzman Scholars would join network of Young Global Leaders.
Mufti is a lawyer and political strategist, with working experience in the field of human rights law. She is presently working at the Samruddha Bharat Foundation, New Delhi.
Each year up to 200 future leaders from the US, China and other countries matriculate as Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University in Beijing to pursue Master’s Degree. Scholars chosen for this highly selective program have demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and the potential to understand and bridge cultural and political differences.
