NSF demands shifting of PDD Sub Division office to Shastri Nagar

JAMMU, Jan 5: National Sikh Front (NSF) demanded shifting of Power Development Department (PDD) Sub Division Office from Trikuta Nagar extension to Shastri Nagar.
In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, president NSF Kulwant Singh demanded shifting of PDD Sub Division Office from Trikuta Nagar extension to Shastri Nagar for the convenience of Chatha, Pirbaba, Raipur, Satwari, Khandwal, Airport Narwal, Nai Basti, Jeewan Nagar, Dashmesh Nagar, Sanjay Nagar and Digiana people.
He said that the residents of these areas have to travel a lot to highlight their issues related to power.
“Power house is installed in Shastri Nagar and PDD Office should be shifted in its premises for the convenience of the people”, he added.
