JAMMU, Jan 5: Various areas of Talab Tillo plunged into darkness due to the damage in the transformer three days back.
A deputation of residents of various areas of Talab Tillo including Puran Nagar and Bhawani Nagar visited Excelsior office and highlighted their problems, being faced them due to non-availability of electricity.
They said that the these areas plunged into darkness around three days back and the Power Development Department (PDD) remained unmoved despite repeated projection of the issue.
The residents flayed the PDD for its failure in restoring the power supply in the areas, which has created problems for children, old age people, patients and students.
The residents warned the PDD to restore the power by tomorrow the earliest otherwise they will come on road and launch a crusade against the department.
