JAMMU, Dec 7: Expressing hope that the ensuing State budget which is about to be presented by the Finance Minister in the coming State Legislature Budget session begining on January 18, 2016 will be pro working class budget, National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today demanded allotment of separate wage head in each department in the budget so that 61000 daily rated workers working in the various departments of the State Government may get their monthly salary regularly.
Talking to media persons here, NMC president, Subhash Shastri said that under the budgetary provisions this interim measure will go a long way to address their financial problems in view of sharp increase in the prices of essential commodities and inflation.
