Srinagar, Aug 5: A driver of a vehicle had a narrow escape after a bridge collapsed in Narbal area of Budgam district in the outskirts of Srinagar.
The decades-old bailey bridge on a Nallah Sukhnag in Narbal area collapsed when a dumper vehicle was crossing it. The driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt.
Locals said that due to the collapse of the bridge, people living in the area will have to suffer. They appealed to the authorities to come up with some alternative as soon as possible.
