In the meeting, people openly showed their resentment against the BJP High Command for ignoring the most genuine and deserving candidate from Billawar constituency. They said party did not see the ground reality before announcing the right candidate.
Addressing the various deputations, Narayan appealed his supporters to maintain peace and harmony in the area and “not” to hold any sort of protest. He said there is no doubt that hundreds of people who are working day and night for the Party have been hurt by the High Command’s decision. He however appealed his supporters to remain with the Party.
