Mian seeks public support on development agenda

KATHUA, Nov 12: Congress candidate from Bani constituency Rajneesh Sharma (Mian) has appealed the people of the area to support Congress Party on the development agenda.
Addressing large gathering at Bani town near Bus Stand today, Mian said that Congress is the only party which can ensure better development. He said Congress has recorded massive development in the State in last  one decade and due to its achievements the people should fully support the party.
Earlier, the people from many areas including Duggan, Roulka, Fatehpur, Bhandar, Khadhar, Dhaggar, Kilod, Dalangal and  Lowang accorded warm welcome to Mian and assured him full support. They garlanded Mian and hoped that like his father Pt Mangat Ram Sharma ( Ex-DyCM), Mian will also ensure better development and serve the people of this remote area of Kathua district.
Mian assured the  gathering that  he would leave no stone unturned to ensure development of the area and provide justice to this neglected constituency. He said this area has always remained undeveloped and no much attention was given to it in the past due to weak leadership. The Congress leader said that area has great Tourism and Horticulture potential and there was need to exploit the same. He said improving road connectivity will be his top priority and he would pursue it vigorously.
Several other people also spoke on the occasion. Prominent among those included Thakur Dass, Hans Raj Padha,  Haji Rashid, Sanesh Bhagat, Suraj Parkash, Pawan Babar and Noor Mohd.
