JAMMU: Mukesh Singh, a 1996 batch IPS Officer of the J&K Cadre who was holding the additional charge of IGP Jammu Zone has taken over the charge of Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, official Spokesman here said on Wednesday.
He said that prior to his posting as IGP Jammu Zone, the officer served in the Police Department in various capacities and thereafter proceeded on deputation to Government of India. (AGENCIES)
