*J&K on path of peace as envisioned by PM: Darakhshan

SRINAGAR, June 7: BJP MP Gulam Ali Khatana today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country in the field of development, national security, international politics, rural development and foreign affairs.
He said that during nine years prime ministership of Narendra Modi, India has achieved new heights and innovative ideas like Make in India, Startup, etc have been implemented and borders have been secured. “Corruption has become a thing of the past and if Rs 100 are released for common man, it reaches to the bottom”, he said, adding, the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) has made it sure that the benefits are reaped by the last man in the row and middlemen have been rooted out.
The MP said this while addressing a meeting of media persons and social media influencers at Baramulla, as part of the month-long ‘9 Saal Bemisal’ campaign to highlight the achievements of the Narendra Modi led BJP Government. He was accompanied by Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, Abhijeet Jasrotia (spokesperson BJP) and Anwar Khan (prabhari, Baramulla parliamentary constituency)
Ghulam Mohiuddin Sofi (district president), Mudassir Wani (sangathan mantra), GM Mir (spokesperson), Ex-MLC Surinder Ambardar and Mudassir Hassan Teli (programme incharge) were also present. On the occasion, Abhijeet Jasrotia presented a power point presentation on the works of Modi led Government.
Dr Darakhshan Andrabi highlighted the work of BJP Government, especially for women and minorities. She said that bringing J&K back on rails is a tough task and only BJP can do it. While answering to a question from media fraternity Dr Andrabi said that PM Narendra Modi has become the inspiration for all those youth who want to contribute for national growth.
She said that J&K is emerging as an international destination for investors and tourists.”Economic boost to J&K will create jobs and uplift the society on a grand scale. Our future is brighter as envisioned by our Prime Minister”, said Dr Andrabi.
Later, MP Khatana along with Dr Andrabi presented certificates of honour to the media persons for their exemplary contributions in establishing the era of positivity, peace and harmony again in Kashmir after a gap of three decades of bloodshed and the era of suppression of facts.
