DODA, Apr 13: A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab here today.
As per police sources, a man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Chenab from Ganpat bridge near district headquarters here.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and divers were pressed in to fish out the body from the river. However, the body could not be fished out from the river till last reports were compiled.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Doda town.
Doda police has taken cognizance in this regard.
