30 MOs deployed to assist in COVID-19 efforts

JAMMU, April 13: Government today accorded sanction to the deployment of 30 Medical Officers (MOs) to Directorate of Health Services (DHS) Jammu/Kashmir for three months for assisting in COVID-19 efforts.
According to the order, Dr Priya Gupta (presently posted at District Mobile Blindness Society, Udhampur), Dr Shashi Balla (NTPHC Sahran), Dr Anita Raina (PHC Kanachak), Dr Meena Kumari (NTPHC Dub Karimdin), Dr Samriti (NTPHC Old Satwari), Dr Samir Khajuria (PHC Arnia), Dr Monika Kotwal (NTPHC Gangyal), Dr Nahida Kouser (NTPHC Chatta), Dr Bandana Sambyal (NTPHC Channi Himmat) and Dr Khushbu Lochan (Government Rajiv Gandhi Leprosy Hospital, Gangyal) have been deployed to DHS Jammu for three months with immediate effect.
Dr Indu Gupta and Dr Naresh Rani (from Government Rajiv Gandhi Leprosy Hospital, Gangyal), Dr Anita Salgotra (Fire & Emergency Services, Jammu), Dr Radhika Nargotra (PHC Sohal), Dr Rita Ladwal (NTPHC Toph Sherkhanian), Dr Nisha Thapa (PHC Domana), Dr Arti Sharma (NTPHC Burn), Dr Sahil Lochan (NTPHC Chack Malaal), Dr Saheela Qureshi (NTPHC Bathindi), Dr Vandana Bakshi (ESI Dispensary, Bakshi Nagar), Dr Manju (ESI Dispensary, Bari Brahmana), Dr Pawan Kumari (PHC Gho Manhasan) and Dr Rubia Afrooz (PHC Dansal) have also been deployed to DHS Jammu.
Moreover, Dr Nuzhat Yasmeen and Dr Fozia Habib (both on deputation to ICDS Kashmir), Dr Malooqa (on deputation to ICDS), Dr Khalida Parveen (ICDS Bishnah), Dr Madhuri Gupta (ICDS Marh), Dr Rimpee Devi (ICDS Vijaypur) and Dr Mehmooda Begum (ICDS Reasi) have been deployed to Directorate of Health Services Jammu/ Kashmir.
“All the MOs shall report to their respective Directorates forthwith failing which disciplinary action shall be initiated against the delinquent doctors without any further notice,” said the Government order.
