REASI, Nov 5: Demanding adequate wages and others facilities like EPF, local workers of Railway construction company BCCL today held a protest demonstration.
Workers of BCCL, which is constructing a Railway tunnel at Khani Kot area in Reasi district, raised slogans against the company management and in support of their demands, which include proper wages, EPF, Medical Allowance etc.
The protesting workers alleged that some local officers of the Civil and Police administration were hand in glove with the corrupt officials of the company who were suppressing their voice.
The protesting workers were joined by Naina Devi, newly elected BDC Chairperson, who assured all possible support to them.
