LG Ladakh meets Yadav, seeks ESIC benefits

LEH, July 18: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur today called on Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Labour and Employment Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi and discussed with him the issue of ESI benefits in the Union Territory.
“During meeting with Yadav, Mathur spoke of providing ESI benefits to migrant labourers in Ladakh and mentioned the need to start ESIC India dispensaries/hospitals in rented accommodations until dedicate infrastructure is put in place,” a tweet by Officer of the Lt Governor Ladakh said.
Mathur stressed for provision of ESIC India mobile clinics owing to the fact that migrant labourers are spread all across the Union Territory of Ladakh.
