JAMMU, Dec 28: A lecture on “Emerging Trends in Cyber Crime” was held at Human Resource Development Centre, University of Jammu.
The lecture delivered by DSP IMS and Cyber, J&K Police, Musadiq Basu was attended by University and College teachers, who are attending a three week refresher course in Behavioural Sciences being organized by HRDC, Jammu University in collaboration with the Department of Environment Sciences.
Basu during the course of his lecturer dwelt in detail on various safeguards that that the academic community needs to keep in mind while treading the cyber world. He vividly covered the topics related to cyber awareness and types of cyber crimes.
He also answered the queries asked by the teachers during the post lecture question answer session.
Earlier, Prof Anil Raina, HoD Environment Sciences, JU and Course Coordinater delivered the welcome address, whereas in the end, Prof Naresh Padha, Director, HRDC presented vote of thanks.
