JYBT organizes free medical camp for physically handicapped

JAMMU, Sept 6: Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) in collaboration with “Narayan Seva Sanstha” Udaipur (Rajasthan) organized 3rd free medical camp for physically handicapped persons at Om Palace, near A G office, Shakti Nagar, Jammu.
The 2-day camp was inaugurated yesterday by Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Jammu and it concluded today. A team of expert technicians headed by Hari Parshad Ladda (In-charge camp) conducted medical check-up of physically handicapped persons in the camp, wherein out of 28 old cases, 17 cases, which were present, were provided Limbs and Callipers.
“Fifteen new cases were also examined, their measurements were taken on-spot and they will also be provided free medical equipments shortly on their next visit to Jammu so that they may also run smooth and respectable life in the society,” said Pawan Kumar Shastri, president of the Trust. He announced that the Trust will organize such type of medical camps in Jammu after every three months for the benefits of Physically Handicapped persons. He appealed to all such physically handicapped persons and their families to remain in-touch with Jammu Yatri Bhawan.
Gurdas Sharma, general secretary while speaking on the occasion said that for providing better treatment to the sufferers, the Trust has so far paid Rs 5,51,000 to the Narayan Seva Sansthan. S L Pandhotra, vice-president, Gurdas Sharma, general secretary, Ram Langer, treasurer, Jatinder Aggarwal, Trustee, besides Sain Dass, N K Gupta, working committee members and the team of officers/officials of the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust were also present on the occasion.
