JWAM activists hold protest against price rise

JAMMU, July 1:  The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement held protest rally against the Central Government for its failure to control the rising prices of essential commodities and other day to-day items, today.
Addressing the protestors Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement was garlanded by the protesters with onions & potatoes which have become dear due to rising prices once again.
Dimple said first the Central Government increased the fare of the railway by 14.2 % and the luggage carrier by 6.5 %. Now it increased the prices of petrol and diesel today which will badly break the back bone of the people of the country.
Sunil Dimple warned if the petrol diesel prices, railway fares are not taken back, the prices not stopped and in “union budget if people do not get relief” we will call for the Jammu bandh and with the consent of national parties we will also go for the Bharat Bandh.
Others present were  Dr  Sham Saroop, Kulbhushan Tondon, Papu Virdi, Balak Ram Angral,  Mohinder Lichi, Kala Singh, Balak Ram Angral,  Ramesh Chander Kohli, Vinod Suri, Sandeep Sarach,Vijay Kumar, Sumi Virdi, Sanjay Nagraj, Rajinder Kumar, Harbans Tondon etc.
