J&K NCP Chief meets Ganai

JAMMU, July 23: J&K NCP, Chief Thakur Randhir Singh has alleged that land of some temples in district Kathua has been grabbed by mafia.
In a meeting with Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Advisor to Governor, Singh said that lands of Shree Airwan Tirathstahan and Shiva Temple of Dabwal in Kathua have been grabbed and brick kilns have been started there which is posing threat to environment and public health.
He also took up the issue of border residents and demanded Border Development Authority for the development in the border belt.
Like this he further demanded establishment of Border Scouts on the pattern of Ladakh Scouts as the same may be useful to security forces and army because of knowledge of local terrain.
After listening to the State NCP Chief, Ganai assured all possible support.
