Multilingual Kavya Goshthi held

JAMMU, July 23: Rashtriya Kavi Sangam Jammu and Chandra Bhaga Sanskriti Manch Akhnoor organized a multilingual Kavya Goshthi at Akhnoor.
On the occasion, Jang S Verman, a well known senior artist and columnist on art and culture was the chief guest and Kali Singh, Retired Tehsildar presided over the programme. OP Shakir, President, Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch and Kewal Kumar Kewal, President Rashtriya Kavi Sangam also shared the dais. Well known poets of Akhnoor and the chief guest presented their poetry in different languages like Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi and Urdu.
Ram Swaroop Sharma, Rachhpal Verma, Thoru Ram, Rattan Bhardwaj, Nasib Singh Nasib, Varinder Mishra, Raj Kumar Shastri, Sarvesh Kumar Mishra, Renu Sharma, Kewal Kumal Kewal, OP Shakir, Jang S Verman recited their poems related to patriotic, social, political and economical issues as well as value system in regular and free verse with some of the poems bearing satirical tinge in their expressions.
Earlier, OP Shakir welcomed the guests and gave brief information about RKS and CBSM, whereas, Kewal Krishan Kewal conducted the proceedings of the programme and also extended the vote of thanks.
