JAMMU, Mar 7: The Post Graduate Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, IGGDC, Jammu organised a two day programme Cons-Endo Day and National Dentist’s day. Dr.Rakesh Krishan Gupta, Principal IGGDC was the’ chief guest, ‘and Dr.Girish Chander Gupta medical superintendent IGGDC was the guest of honor.
Dr. Azhar Malik, Professor and Head of Department Conservative Dentistry was the organizing chairman of the event with Dr. Ajay Gupta Associate Professor being the organizing secretary.
The two -day event consisted of a scientific poster presentations and Interdepartmental Quiz competition on 1st day and cultural activities like singing, dancing competition, mimicry and a wonderful skit on the 2nd day. The winners of all the events were honored by the Chief guest and the Guest of Honour.
Dr. Rachna Dhani, Dr. ShamimAnjum, Dr.Rudrakaul, Dr Kanchan ,Dr. Ashish Choudhary, Dr.SukhbirKour, Dr. Saima and Dr.Tahira were some of the chief contributors from the Organizing Committee. The students of the College marked such events highly significant in their comprehensive development and urged for many more such events in future. The whole event was celebrated to mark the need of maintaining good oral environment for a healthy and sound body. The program was conducted following proper COVID guidelines issued by the Government of UT of J&K.
