UDHAMPUR, Mar 7: Senior Congress leader Sumeet Magotra visited people of an adjoining village of Udhampur town and listed to problems of the locals.
Speakers in the meeting said that their area is adjoining National Highway as well as Udhampur Town but the village has no approach road and drinking water supply resulting people are suffering and they are totally dependent on natural source of water (Bowly). Speakers further disclosed that most of the bread earners of the families of this locality are labour class and their problems are increasing day by day.
In his address, Congress leader Sumeet Magotra said it was unfortunate this adjoining area of Udhampur Town is ignored by all the elected representatives and the District administration. He further said that Union Government of India headed by BJP has failed to control the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinder resulting prices of essential goods are hiking day by day.
Magotra assured the people that he would approach the concerned authorities of Administration in connection with their problems for appropriate action and solution.
