JAMMU, June 11: Asserting that reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir after proper delimitation of constituencies is the dire need of day, the former minister and senior BJP leader Bali Bhagat has ridiculed the Gupkar Gang for still continuing to live in a fool’s paradise as its dream to get the Article 370 restored in J&K is not going to be fulfilled at least during the ongoing century.
In a statement issued in response to the latest meeting of the Gupkar Gang, Bali Bhagat castigated the constituent members especially those who ruled the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir till yesteryears for abruptly coming out of deep slumber of over seven months to revive unrest in the valley in the name of ‘Restoration of Article 370’. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah deserve full credit for this great step of abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A in the interest of nation’s integration and welfare besides giving a great set back to the separatists as well as to their patrons in the political circles.
Bali Bhagat said, that when in governance these Gupkar Gang leaders deprived the Gujjar-Bakerwals, Paharis, people living along international border, POJK and West Pak refugees and other marginalized sections of the society of all the genuine rights during their 70 years of rule in the erstwhile state of J&K. Moreover, they remained biased towards Jammu and Ladakh and people in both these territories suffered during their seventy years rule due to their discriminatory approach, he further alleged.
The former Minister said that abrogation of Article 370 was the main demand of people of J&K that had been over due and BJP has fulfilled this long pending demand of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhagat asked the people of Jammu and Kashmir people to remain vigilant against the nefarious designs of PAGD which is working 24X7 to create wedge between the various sections of the society on the basis of religious lines as these former CMs and their parties had been doing during about seventy years of their rule in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
