JAMMU, Aug 1: Government today re-constituted the Apex Committee for Himayat Scheme in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Headed by the Principal Secretary, Finance Department, the committee shall evaluate the proposals of Project Implementing Agencies, approve the proposals, allot targets, set areas of operation and set the project framework for implementation of Himayat Scheme as per Deen Dayal Upadhyay-Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) guidelines.
Comprising Administrative Secretaries of RDD, Industry & Commerce Department, Labour & Employment Department and others as the members, the committee shall be serviced by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
