JAMMU, Aug 1: The people of Ward number 44 in Nanak Nagar were having a tough time as there was no power supply from the last evening.
Councillor of the Ward Inder Singh Soodan said he rang all the top officers of PDD but only a few of them picked phone and gave assurances but nothing happened and the people faced a tough time in these hot and humid days.
He said that the area near Gurudwarda Santpura was worst affected as even the inverters of the people have exhausted.
Soodan urged the concerned authorities to look into the matter and restore the electricity in the area so that the people there may heave a sigh of relief.
