JAMMU, Oct 11: The State Government has constituted a State Level Committee for the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY-G) Scheme in the State. Besides, this district level penal has also been announced.
In six-member State Level Committee, Chief Secretary will be the Chairman. The other members of the panel are- Administrative Secretary, Power Development Department; Administrative Secretary Public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Administrative Secretary , Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Administrative Secretary Rural Development Department and any other officer/ technical expert to be co-opted as needed as special invitee.
The State Level Committee shall be serviced by the Department of Rural Development and shall meet at least twice a year.
In 7-member District Level Committee, concerned District Development Commissioner will be Chairman; Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) will be Member Secretary; Assistant Director CAPD concerned; District Panchayat Officer concerned, Executive Engineer PHE concerned and Executive Engineer PDD concerned will be the members while Technical consultant/ expert nominated by the DDC will be the special invitee. The District Level Committee shall meet every quarter in a year.
