Govt fails to fulfill jobs promises: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Mar 27: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray, J&K Unit on Wednesday targeted the BJP-led Central Government over growing unemployment in the country asking BJP to clear its stand over the 2.5 crore jobs promises made with the people of the country during the last Parliamentary polls.
Addressing the media persons here, Dimpy Kohli, State President and Manish Sahni General Secretary, Shiv Sena said that BJP-led NDA Government failed to fulfill its promise of providing two crore jobs every year to the youth of our country.
“During the 2014 elections, PM Narendra Modi had promised of ‘Acche Din’ (good days), which included providing two crore jobs every year. The Modi Government has failed to understand that distress in society,” Kohli said.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured that if elected to power his Government would create two crore jobs annually but the Centre had miserably failed in ensuring job during its three-and-half-year tenure. Following the failure of the Union Government, youths of the country were suffering. Modi Government by making false promises had only cheated the unemployed youth,” Sahni said , adding that the wrong policies of BJP has plunged the State into unprecedented crisis.
He said that BJP used emotive slogans to exploit the sentiments of the people. Sahni said that youth are the most affected due to the hollow policies of BJP Government at the Centre.
“Instead of providing jobs the BJP leaders are playing with the sentiments and future of unemployed youth of J&K State,” he added.
Seeking support of people for party, Kohli appealed to the people of Jammu region to vote and support the Shiv Sena candidates in the Lok Sabha polls.
Meenakshi Chibber, Harsh Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Pankaj Sahni, Balwant Singh, Sikanser Singh, Raj Singh, Raju, Ganesh Lal, Mangu Ram and many others were present during the press conference.
