Four injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Nov 15: Four persons were injured in two different road accidents in south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a Maruti-800 car bearing registration number DL8CX-0165 hit and injured two pedestrians namely Nazir Ahmad Chopan and Abdul Rashid Bakshi at Moshwara in Kellar area of Shopian district. Both the injured were shifted to Srinagar Hospital for treatment, said the spokesman.
The spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01M- 7824 driven by Jahangir Ahmad Mir and an Auto Load Carrier driven by Rashid Shafi Dar collided at Charsoo in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion namely Jahangir Ahmad Mir. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
