Srinagar, Nov 15: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today said it has taken a serious note of the complaints pouring in from its members with regard to refusal of accepting the old 500 and 1000 rupee notes by the State-run BSNL. A Chamber spokesman said the Government earlier made it public that the old 500 and 1000 tender will be accepted at any public utility counters in settlement of due bills.
“The Chamber would demand that concerned be directed to comply with the Government instructions to help mitigate the hardship faced by the public were settle their bills,” he said in a statement here.
