JAMMU, Dec 28: Gandhi Nagar police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 30 grams of heroin from his possession, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Mandeep Singh, son of Satnam Singh of Sanjay Nagar.
A case under FIR Number 297/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Gandhi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu.
