JAMMU, Dec 6: Son of the soil, Dr Sushil Kotru, has been awarded prestigious RSSDI- USV National Award for Excellence in Diabetes Care.
The award in the form of a Gold Medal, a Certificate and a cash amount of Rs 50,000 was presented to him recently during the inaugural function of 47th Annual Meeting of RSSDI (Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India) at Jaipur, Rajasthan. RSSDI (Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India), is the largest organization of diabetes health care professionals in Asia.
Dr Kotru is presently a Senior Consultant and HoD, MEDOC (Max Endocrine, Diabetes and Obesity Care Centre) Max Super Speciality Hospital, Bathinda. He also runs a clinic under the name and style of ‘Medinova Clinic’ at Sector 3, lower Roop Nagar in Jammu, where he pays visit twice a month.
He is a present member of American Diabetes Association, European Association for the study of Diabetes, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Association of Physicians of India. He is also a regular invited faculty member at key conferences.
