JAMMU, Apr 25: Miran Sahib police arrested associate of Dilbagh Group, who was at large since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib police station conducted raid in district Poonch and nabbed the associate of Dilbagh Group.
The accused has been identified as Vikram Singh alias Lucky, son of Jagjeet Singh, a resident of Ward Number 4, Miran Sahib.
He was wanted in attempt to murder case registered under FIR Number 54/16 under Section 307, 341, 323, 34 RPC and 3/25 and 4/25 arms act with police station Miran Sahib on March 21, 2016. The accused was at large since then.
The accused is one of the associate of Dilbagh Group-a gang which is active in the State since 2009 and various cases including attempt to murder stands registered against the members of this group with different police stations in J&K and Guwahati.
The arrest was made by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
